This route runs through the less crowded area of the Sierra del Sueve, along its southern and westernmost slope, with views both towards the coast and the Bay of Biscay, and inland y the Cordillera, and it is the ideal place to be able to contemplate two referents of this mountain range, asturcones and fallow deer.

 

We start at el Alto de la Llama (420m), walking along a track, which ascends through a chestnut grove and through a chestnut grove robles, crosses meadows and ends at La Majada de Espineres (845m). We continue ascending to reach Alto de la Cruz, where we will be able to appreciate a change of landscape with limestone formations.
